The SEFT Way!

Bonny Londono, is a jersey native who grew up loving the game of soccer. Having moved up through the youth soccer ranks, Bonny, experienced first hand what it takes to climb the US Soccer ladder. At 14 years of age, Londono joined Metro Stars/ New York Redbulls, but would finish his youth career at PDA. He won 4 straight state prep championships at St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, NJ, the last one as a captain. With a few professional offers at hand, Bonny, committed to Rutgers University on a full-ride and started every game as a freshman for the Scarlet Knights. After his first season, Bonny signed with Belgian second division team, Royal Excelsior Virton. After a season in Europe, Bonny returned home to play with New York Redbulls for two years before tearing his achilles tendon in 2013.
It was at that moment, that Bonny Londono turned his eyes to coaching and created SEFT to best express his knowledge of the game to his players. Coach Bonny is a US Soccer Licensed coach. His coaching career started at NASA United in 2012, followed by a 5 year tenure at Cedars Stars Newark, and head coach of the St. Benedict's Prep Varsity B team. His time and work with SEFT and in Newark caught the eyes of New York City FC who brought Bonny on board with the academy in 2019.
